Since 2007, The Ernesto Alvarez Foundation has been carrying out the great commission of Jesus Christ, to go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. In our attempts, we have visited several countries to include Haiti, Dominican Republic, Mexico, and India; and have touched many through education, clothing, food, and encouragement programs.  .   

The Ernesto Alvarez Foundation is founded on the basis of James 1:27, where we believe that religion that is pure and true before God is to visit orphans and widows in their time of trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.  Since most people living in poverty are children, we teach them that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.  "For through Him thier days will be many, and years will be added to their life" (Proverbs 9:11).   It's understood universally that poverty affects children's livestyles, causing them to live unhealthy and malnourished. We believe that by meditating on God's word and  through education, their lives will be enhanced, thereby causing the generational curse of poverty, lack, and disease will come to an end. The end result will make a difference and make the world a better place.

There are many out there who wonder if God exist, then why does He allow His people to suffer?  Mother Teresa says, "if our poor die of hunger, it is not because God does not care for them.  Rather, it is because neither of you nor I are generous enough.  It is because we are not instruments of love in the hands of God.  We do not recognize Christ when once again He appears to us in the hungry man, in the lonely woman, in the child who is looking for a place to get warm."  God is Real!  However He uses willing vessels, like you and me to accomplish great things.  As the human body consist of millions upon billions of microscopic molecules, God's body consist of millions upon billions of people.  Each of us are called, but only a few of us do anything about it.  God made everyone of us different, "it was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of servide, so that the body of Christ may be built up intil we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature" (Ephesians 4:11-13).     We are all God's creatures scattered across the earth and everything God created was designed to solve a problem.    When our missionaries set out into foreign lands, their first mission is to solve curiosity problems. Their next mission is to partner with the locals and birth creativity. Creativity is the quest for solutions! Solutions are the answers to life's problems. 

WE UNDERSTAND THAT NOT EVERYONE IS CALLED TO THE MISSION FIELD. How does one know if they are called? First, a calling is  not decided, but discovered. Second, what one hates is a clue to something they are assigned to correct. HOWEVER, YOU CAN STILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE BY SENDING ONE AND SUPPORTING THEIR CALLING. one of our missionairies are highly trained and equipped to go anywhere to proclaim the name of Jesus Christ.
