The Ernesto Alvarez Foundation is currently working with Mission Brenham.  Mission Brenham is a team of Christians with a heart for reaching out to the loss and less-fortunate communities of Washington County, Texas.  Every summer, Mission Brenham reaches out individals and families from low-income neighborhoods with love and compasion, while sharing the love of Christ. 

Every summer, Mission Brenham invites the children from the low-income neighborhoods to participate in JAM (Jesus and Me).

JAM is an 8 week program designed for elementary school students to prepare them for the future.  We provide breakfast and lunch for the children, tell bible stories, have classes in math, science, reading, along with various fun recreational activities. 

JAM Extreme is also an 8 week program designed for junior high students. with an emphasis on leadership development training.  In addition to biblical ans academic courses, JAM Extreme participates in community service, job skills, and abstinence classes.  For more information visit www.MissionBrenham.org.
