With all of the catastrophic incidents that have been occuring lately, we the staff of TEAF believe that  the secret to solving many of the world's problems is Wisdom. It is wisdom that determines one's health, wealth, and overall being. The bible tells us that in the pursuit of wisdom there is happiness, long life, wealth, honor, pleasure, and peace (Proverbs 4:7).   We believe that ignorance is the leading cause of  poverty amongst people and nations.    TEAF believes that through wisdom and education, not only us now, but the next generation will find hope and peace for a better and safer tomorrow.                                                                                                                                                                                                                        

  Truth

By nature, we are destructive beings.  It is evident in the way that we treat one another.  If we are honest with ourselves, we have no consideration and respect for our fellow brothers and sisters; not even for ourselves with our harmful habits, it seems as though the world has lost touch with love. We have filled that void in our hearts with materialism, alcohol, sex, and drugs.  But at The Ernesto Alvarez Foundation, together with your time and support we can and will succeed in showing the next generation that although money can not buy happiness, it can surely make a significant difference in a child's life.  A small donation of $15 a month or $1.50 a day can provide a small child with warm clothing, proper nutrition, shelter, and a hope for tomorrow.  "Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up for themselves as a firm foundtion for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life": (I Timothy 6:18).
